Transition Open Evening - Year 9-14 parents and carers

Wednesday 24th September 2014 - 6:30-8:30pm

We would like to invite you to our fi rst Transition Open evening at Amwell View School. The aim of the event is to
encourage and support parents to develop knowledge of the process of transition so that they can support their
young person from school to FE and beyond. We hold a number of events which support this focus for specific year groups which some of you have been involved in. We feel that an annual event will provide a regular opportunity to speak to a range of professionals/
organisations in a supported environment.

The event will be an open carousel style so that you can move freely to speak to tables/stalls that are free.
The money advice unit will be speaking to all attendees in a key note style to provide up to date information around benefits and financial support.

If you are planning to attend please confirm how many places you require with the school office.
