Herts School Games Boccia Tournament

Wodson Park hosted the Herts School Games boccia championships on Dec 2nd this year.
Hertford & Ware SSP fielded two teams this year, with the players representing a number of schools in the region.
The physical disability competition consisted of 10 teams, 5 in each pool, The Hertford & Ware team won 3 games and drew 1 match in Group A, which took them through to the semi-final stage. Playing against Dacorum, whom they beat 5-0, they reached the final against Lonsdale A. In a close game they narrowly missed out on the gold medal, losing 3-1. However they were very proud to finish with silver medals.
