Science Week

Science Week (11th – 15th March) this year has the theme on ‘Journeys’. In Science lessons pupils are going to explore the Journeys of:

  • paper aeroplanes
  • plastics and micro-fibres into our waterways
  • how germs travel in a sneeze and why it is important to cover our face with a tissue or hand
  • information travelling in our brains and how we learn to remember songs, words, and actions

In addition to the Science  lessons each class will make and design different paper aeroplanes and test them out in the Sports Hall in a mini-competition. As we ‘journey through time’ classes will create their own time capsule, drawing and selecting things that are important to them right now to compared with in the future.
