School Council meetings take place once a half term. All classes have a student council representative who attends each meeting. Prior to each meeting the minutes from the previous meeting and an agenda are circulated to each class to discuss before the representative feeds back. Pupils are encouraged to discuss agenda items within the meeting using their voices, symbols, signing and switches. The School Council representatives discuss a wide range of items including up and coming events, new staff, building work, clubs, life outside of school and much more. Pupils are eager to share their views and feel a sense of pride to represent the whole school.
