Amwell View School celebrated it’s 63^rd birthday on the 7^th July 2026. The pupils enjoyed a picnic and an ice-cream from The Hatch. The school combines this celebration by inviting families in to the school to remember loved ones and spend time reflecting at the Butterfly Memorial Garden. The Headteacher, Neil Ward, said “Some of our pupils have very complex medical conditions and sadly pass away far too early. We believe it is important to stay in touch with all of our families and remember their loved ones and keep their memories alive. This school event is very special to all of us. We combine this event alongside the celebrations of the school’s birthday, so that we can laugh and cry together.”
