Bad Weather

In the event of severe weather conditions causing the school to be closed, all parents and carers will receive an email from our Arbor email notification system.

In special circumstances, e.g. very severe weather conditions, it is possible that pupils may be sent home early and parents are requested to make any necessary alternative arrangements. It is most important that parents make sure the driver knows where to deliver their child. It is not always possible to forewarn parents of occasions when pupils will be allowed home early due to severe weather conditions so parents are requested to telephone the school if there is any doubt or difficulty.

In the event of heavy settled snow, the school will make every attempt to clear the car park and paths to ensure that it is safe to reopen at the earliest point.  Due to the size of the site and the number of staff/volunteers able to support these efforts, we will ask for willing volunteers via the school website, Arbor and Instagram pages.  We appreciate any support given to ensure that our children are able to access their school.
